View Full Version : Machined a Bi-Pod Adapter for Choat Stock

My Savage 10FP .308 didn't come with a bipod adapter.
And I got tired of this:

So instead of sourcing one and paying for it, i figured since it's solid steel far away from the shooter anyways, may as well make one out of Billet Aluminum and shed some weight.

Tapped the stock as well, many people complain about sliding so this way it fully secures to the gun yet still quick releases.

Thanks. Some people have also used the screw hole/nut already in the stock as well. But the threads were pretty small, felt like 1/4-20 would be more secure.
