A friend of mine was discussing this and I would like your thoughts.

I was thinking of taking one of my C&R rifles out hog-hunting, here' the choices:

M-39 Finn Pro's: Accurate as hell! Con's: Heavy
91-30 Mosin Pro's: Decent Accurate Con's: Long Fairly-Heavy
Enfield MK4 No 1 Pro's: Accurate/Peep-Sights Con's: Commercial Ammo-Expensive (Don't reload - yet)

Yugo 24/47 Pro's: Light-Weight (fairly) Con's: Shoots-High*
(*Planning to put a scout-scope on it, in the near future)

M1916 Spanish Pro's: Light-Weight (fairly) Con's: Haven't test fired it yet-can't judge

I am leaning toward the Enfield, for two reasons:
1) The sights (I have 50+ year old eyes) despite the ammo cost
2) The action I can work faster than the others

So based on this - what do you-all think?

the enfield-- it's accurate!-- you shouldn't need very much ammo so cost shouldn't be a concern.

The one your accurate with. Why carry a inaccurate gun and when your huffing and puffing miss that once in a life time hog...not to mention the unethical shot..

Ammo is the cheapest part of a hunt.
