Right here. Goes for any .45ACP, gun makes zero difference.

It matters because some brands/models don't consistently cycle some types or brands of ammo.

OP, whatever you choose, run a few magazines of it through your gun to make sure it works. If it doesn't, try something else. The number one priority is that it cycles and fires - expansion and other differentiators are secondary considerations.

True. However, the cycling issues are usually not anything to do with the brand of gun, but the specific gun itself. I've used plenty of duplicate guns where one doesn't like a certain ammo while the other eats it up. This is why your second paragraph is the general rule.

Another vote for the Ranger T Series.

It is the only authorized .45 ACP round for LASD personnel who carry a .45

I have an M&P 45 and it cycles flawlessly. My buddy has a Sig and a Smith CS45, as well as a GI 1911 and has never had an issue.

Buy a box each of the above and see what works the best.Take the one that works the best and run 4 or 5 more boxs.Ammo is cheap compared to your life and the lives of your loved ones.
