Just wanted to share my AR pistol I got from a fellow calgunner, pinoy916. Love this pistol. So does my girl.

Got my lower from Riflegear , it's a tm . Went to a build party last weekend an finished the mill work , now I'm just waiting for my next paycheck to pick up the upper . Ima have warren make me a mur1 upper with 7.5 inch barrel with Troy alpha rail and diablo muzzle break

You're gonna be as happy with it as I am with this!

Nice! I'm working on building one myself and only missing the barrel and upper receiver. It's getting more expensive than I first planned but hey, that's firearms for ya. :D

OP, what type of buffer tube/receiver extension do you have? I'm currently using the RRA pistol buffer tube which doesn't require a castle nut, but I need one in order to use the sling point. Thanks.

It's a Phase 5 pistol buffer tube

Tanners engraving in San Jose ! Tom was a great guy fellow cal gunner , all I have him was an idea , he came up with the rest . It will cost ya anywhere from 20$-60$ depending on how much stuff you want on it

Thanks, I'll give them a call when I come up with something

Sounds like my wife. Except now she is pissed that she can't go shooting (or even to the range to watch) until after the end of September. That is when our first born is due, and I am not willing to risk having her inhale mercury fumes and lead particulate while she is pregnant. But I did promise to her that once the lil one is old enough we will get a baby sitter and then go to the range so she can send some rounds downrange.

LOLZ!!! She even says that he trigger finger is itchy.

Congrats on the new baby coming bro! My little girl isn't so little anymore, she's 13 now and I'm trying to get her to learn how to shoot. I got a little Ruger SR22 for my girl and the kids to shoot. But now my girl wants her own AR pistol!!!

Thanks bro. My wife wants an AR too, but a rifle instead. But we will have to wait until things settle down a lil bit. But once they do I am going to build her a sweet one. Maybe even one based on an 80% build with a timney trigger in it so I can adjust the trigger pull so it can be just right for her. the last time she fired one she put 10 rounds in the 10 ring on the head of a silhouette target at 100yds with a knock off 4x acog scope. I figure I will build her one that can easily beat that and be all her own. She likes firing my firearms (Steven .22lr Semi-auto rifle, Remington 788 .308Win bolt-action rifle , and Mossberg 190 16ga bolt-action shotgun), but she wants one to call her own.

The 80% lower will use any mil-spec lower parts kit. No need to DROS it.

Nothing gets DROS'd... 80% receivers are not considered firearms because they are not finished, therefore you can have it shipped to your door. You can voluntarily register it once completed, or have an off the books gun.

wow are you serious? you can buy a 80%, have it milled by a shop, then build a gun that is off the books and this is not illegal? what happens if you are caught with an ar15 or ar pistol that isnt registered.....

NO... The 80% lower must be machined by you, not a shop, to be "off the books". Then it is a home build just like the ak's and ak pistols. There are build parties you can join and they will rent you their equipment and show you how to use them.

what if you took it to gunsmith to mill it...is that illegal? i dont want to break any laws, especially since i can legally just buy one through dros.

if you took it to a gunsmith and used their tools to mill it yourself, then yes. No one can touch it, you are the only one that can perform work on it. They can sit next to you and give you instructions, but never do any of the work.
