I am debating between these 3:

CED Deluxe Pro-- Lockable. No inner removable bag like Midway and SC bags, a little smaller as well. $89 + $15 shipping.

Shooters Connection Tournament Series Pro-- I emailed Chuck and he says it has been redesigned to be lockable now. I've heard it can get quite heavy though. Also the most expensive at $99 + $25 shipping.

MidwayUSA Competition-- knock-off of Shooters Connection, half the price when on sale. Comes with pistol sleeves not included with the SC bag. NOT lockable-- I think that might be a deal breaker for me :( The whole point of a new bag is that I don't have a trunk and am tired of lugging around separate locking cases for my pistols.

Anyone have experience and advice regarding these bags?

I'm able to lock the Midway compact bag using a lock with a ~ 1 inch hasp going through both zipper pulls and the d-ring that the shoulder strap goes on.

I would recommend the Midway bag. After looking around for a long time and reading many, many reviews I ended up buying the Midway bag. Couldn't be more pleased with the amount of storage and the quality of the bag. Plus, you can't beat the price compared to the other two options. (But I would wait until they go on sale for $49.99).

As far as the bag not being lockable... I tossed the two gun pouches that came with the Midway bag and bought a couple cheap replacements that were lockable.

Get the Midway bag. Unbelievable value for the money.

For locking it, you can use a gun lock to loop through both zippers and one of the shoulder strap rings.

Midway bag when it goes on sale.

I frequently load it up to the point where I get bruises on my shoulder but the bag goes on and on.

I've got the Midway bag and the Shooter's Connection bag...no comparison in quality. You can put a case of ammunition on the SC bag and it won't collapse. Weight of the two bags is pretty close.

Shooters Connection bag hands down. Quality is identical to CED, but SC bag is way roomier for the big bag. It has the stage bag you can take with you or buy extra for different guns. I have it for 2 years now, never looked back.

I had the midway bag.. cheaper in material. sold it.
I had the CED bag, nice little bag but i needed a bigger one so I sold it too.

I'm way late to this conversation but I wouldn't buy a thing from Shooters Connection. Their 20% restocking fee is ridiculous. It doesn't matter what the issue is with the product you are going to be forced to pay that fee. Stick with Midway!

Larue Tactical makes a very very nice very well made bag

not quite as many small pockets as the Midway ( which is a knock off of the SC)

But if you want real lifetime construction...the Larue is pretty nice

They are small custom shop serving USPSA shooters. Not a mass merchandiser of consumer goods. Know that going in and you'll fine. ;)
