Update- Malinois puppies were born 5/28/07: 3 females & 2 males, all healthy.

The puppies will be available at 8 weeks, preferablly to working dog or sport dog homes, as these dogs will have Extremely high drives, and should only go to those that are experienced with large breed working dogs, or that will invest the time to train such a highly active breed, or give the puppy an outlet that will ensure a healthy safe lifestyle for both the dog as well as the owner. These are working dogs with a stong pedigree of working dogs from France & Belgium, and as working dogs need an outlet or a job to remain happy and safe as a dog.

The Dam is Schutzhund and personal protection trained and the sire is a high level French Ring Sport dog. The puppies will have extreme grips, sound temperments, and a strong desire to work.

If your not familiar with the Malinois, they are Belgian Shepherds and extremely popular with the military and law enforcement for their advanced intelligence, and extreme fight and prey drive. They are manstoppers and do so on patrol on a daily basis with their K9 handlers for law enforcement departments around the country.

I just thought I'd see if there are any dog sport entusiasts here on the board that would be interested in a puppy, and getting into training.

Pups will have all shots and AKC papers and will go for between $800 and $1000. Contact me if there is any interest. If not, thanks for reading this, and check out videos on youtube of Malinois and watch them work. They're awesome!!!

These are awesome dogs! If I was looking for a large dog, these would probably be in my top 3 breeds to chose from.

Hey John, these are definitely "High Performance" dogs. I've trained alot of breeds and can honestly say that the Mal's seem to learn very fast and can retain a ton of knowledge from sucxh a young age, wich is why I know devote most of my time to this breed, but deep down I am a rottie guy at heart, thats what I started out with.

If I only had the room, I'd be in on this. Malinois are beautiful dogs.

Man, I've wanted one of those ever since seeing the "Anti-terrorist Dog" video (http://www.metacafe.com/watch/26401/anti_terrorist_dog/) somebody posted here awhile back.

Malinois are amazing.
