I took my little girl to Burro Canyon last week. She did really well. She even fired the M1 Carbine but it was a bit much for her. She stuck with Lorcin .25 and my old J stevens .22 "stapler"

I'm going to pick up a new Ruger 45/22 for her soon.

I made a short video of our day at the range -enjoy

Great video. I can't wait to get my daughter to an outdoor range, whole different experience.

Thanks for sharing -- it brought back memories of taking my daughter shooting.

Enjoy these times.

Had my 7 year old grand daughter out to the desert Saturday shooting her pink .22 rifle this weekend. These are precious memories...enjoy them.

That's freaking awesome. Flashed me back to my girls first time. Nothing like that smile on your kids face to make pops proud of them. And nothing like teaching them the safety aspect of it all. But it's something when they start smiling at you cause they shoot better than you later on down the line :) Good job to you both!

Enjoy her while you can. She will grow up FAST. Seems like mine was that size just yesterday. Here's a pic of her spending the day with her boyfriend and dear ol dad at Triple B's

I wish I could get my daughter (12) to be more involved in shooting but at this time me and my son(14) go once every few months.

Great job dad. I am waiting for my 6 year old daughter too. She knows how to cock and load her pink Crickett. I am going to introduce her probably next month.

Her thumbs up was awesome :D , started my daughter with firearms around the same age ( Airguns a couple of years earlier ) ...I would give anything to live through that period again.

They grow up too damn fast, enjoy the hell out of these times now.

My grand son will be two in a month and a half. He still has a few years to go. He can count to 10 and did his abc's with grandma today. I got to witness it before his dad did, lol.

Thank for the kind words. We did have a blast and we are headed out again tomorrow. Just yesterday we were looking at new guns. On her wish list a Ruger 45/22 and/or one of the "tactical" .22 rifles.

After watching your video, I've come to the conclusion that women lean back when firing because they are born that way. :)
