Sorry to make yet ANOTHER featureless thread, but i dont think people really read questions in posts other than the first one...

Anyway, my question is: Does it matter how you pin your stock for a featureless build?

I have seen people pinning them by drilling a hole through the stock AND the buffer tube, and I've seen people mention just drilling a hole and pinning the stock so you cannot actuate the adjustment lever.

Does it matter? I would prefer a method that does not involve permanent modification to the buffer tube if its not necessary.

I am using a Magpul MOE stock, and i think i can just just a set screw to block off the lever so you can't actuate it.

Would this be sufficient?

On the MOE and CTR there is a little space to drill a 1/8" hole for a roll pin, between where the latch contacts the little metal bar.

I does not drill through the receiver extension, and you can't even notice the hole since its so small.

And please, if you have any more questions, just keep them in one of your 3 current threads, LOL.
