View Full Version : M1 Carbine info and value request.

Ive been considering selling my Rockola carbine to fund a different toy. Its a really good gun but I just dont ever use it and Im lusting over a couple other toys right now. So I would like to know some history on it and if its worth enough to justify selling. Its in great shape but unfortunately the stock was refinished. Looks really good, but I know it hurts the value.

front of the receiver reads:
CAL. 30MI.

Rear reads
Rock Ola

It has what looks to be three original 15rd mags and one 30rd mag as well as a stainless 30rd mag. The Bayonet is in perfect shape with nice wood on it and reads:
U.S. M4
but has a plastic sheath so Im assuming its a remake. Heres a couple pics of it too, hopefully someone can give me a little info on it.

Should be able to.

More $$$ would be dependent upon if you have the correct parts (make/year) in it.

The lads in the C&R forum can give you a better approximate value.

Right on, thank you. Just tossed it up in the classifieds here to see what kind of response I get. I wouldnt be heart broken if I had to keep it, its a cool gun to have around.

I would ask for about 800 or more if it is a non import. If you sell it break down the mags in to mag parts kits. You don't want to sell them as complete mags.

I have it listed for $750. I got a good deal on it so I dont need to get top dollar for it. Id let it go for $700 and feel good that both parties got a good deal. mags are already disassembled.

$700 with mag kits and bayo is a steal. Good luck with sale.

It sold for $750 with kits etc. that was after several sub $500 offers and a bunch of random trades as usual.
