I have a 7.62 WASR 10/63 and I'm stuck in between these two brakes, for a arsenal ak74 style brake I would need a adapter, and JTAC I don't. Price for both each is about 83$ that includes a 10$ 14/28mm adapter for the arsenal. Jtac has lifetime warranty, dont think Arsenal does. Does using a adapter affect the capability of the brake at all?

Does anyone own both, or tried both and can compare the differences between the two, I'm just trying to do my research before dropping 83 bucks on a brake:13:

Edit arsenal brake will be ~10$ more, cheaperthandirt will not mail this to CA

Seeing as how the AK74 has a 5.45mm bore diameter, I'm pretty sure that a 7.62mm AK would shoot that brake off spectacularly with the first shot, ruining your barrel threads. At the very least. :(

Edit: Never mind.

I would just find a clone of it for way cheaper...

something like this:

http://usmachinegun.com/proddetail.php?prod=AK-0101

and you wont need an adaptor either.. I just think 83 bucks for a 74 style brake is crazy...

It is pretty expensive but it think it would be worth it to be able to shoot 10 rounds+ without having the muzzle really rise or move to the right.

Fake '74 style brakes are worthless. The true '74 brake has an interior expansion chamber that the Tapco versions lack.

Have you tried a JTAC47 or FSC47?
