I was sitting here at home trying to stay out of the heat and I came across this article in the local paper. Didn't see it posted yet. Sorry if it has been. I'm pretty sure that we would be more than happy to take care of this "problem" for them.

Wonder what difference it would make to open pigs to night hunting?

The article mentions San Timoteo Creek from Beaumont to Moreno Valley. I've seen lots of pigs there but that whole area is off limits to hunting..that area isn't inlcuded in the aerial hunting area though.

Maybe time to go spear hunting!!! LOL!!

Ironic that the Feds, who will get the budget for hunting these pigs by helicopter, also recommends it. Rather than just open the area to archery or limited draws...

I know a guy that has a major pig problem in the foothills and actually got his dep. permit and set up a trap like the one in that show that could catch 20 at a time. Supposedly he gets over 5 each time he sets it
