I just recently did Fundamental Tactical Carbine class by Gray Ops in conjunction with Elite Arms. I learned a lot and would like to practice. Question is, anyone knoew where I can go practice at? Just want to go out and practice stance, presentation of firearm and shoot a couple of rounds. Most ranges out where I live, dont allow that. Anyone know where I can go?

BLM land or Private Property in a County that will allow shooting.

Yeah... always someone there during operating hours. Go past the sign that say range close and go join at the range office. Talk to Mike... he'll get you set up.

It is a big state, where do you live? In So. Ca. you can do it at Burro Canyon or Angles.

It's funny, my brother and I where just talking about taking that gray ops course in Sacramento in November. It's a 2 day course. We aren't completely sure yet though.

As far as Gray Ops go.....these guys are top notch. Great instructors. Already thinking of doing fundamental handgun as well as transitional. I just would like to practice more of fundamental carbine first. I've been practicing at home with dry fire.....just wanna shoot rounds off too, from time to time.

Stockton, huh? Kelley Drive, but bullets will be flying your way as well. I used to live in Stockton until my wife and I couldn't take it anymore. Sac Valley is a great place to shoot. From Stockton it's a nice relaxing drive.
