If that was made by magpul, it would have been 39.99

What does Magpul have to do with anything?

OP, not that I'm aware of, personally, seems like a pointless product, including the one you linked, and serves no real purpose other than parting the consumer with his money.

Well....some of the .22lr AR uppers the bolt group doesn't really "click" in and stay so it's really easy for them to fall out. Less so w a 5.56 upper but it still "can" so if you happen to "tinker" and have separated uppers and lowers laying around....

Lol. Since I don't really think anything exists for lowers it isn't much of a jack. In general peeps got extra uppers not lowers but I have reasons to keep stuff separated at home

You could probably make something like it out of Kydex.

Google some youtube videos on making Kydex holsters and sheaths.

I bought one just because it was cheap enough to try out.

At least it would have been available in OD Green ;)

It keeps the bolt from falling out of an upper when not in use. A lower doesn't have that problem.

The bolt savers work well, honestly. They're good to keep dust and crap from getting in the upper, and keeps the bolt from falling out of the upper if you have more uppers than lowers. We give them free with all centerfire uppers purchased from us, and some rimfire. We're by no means making a killing on them, but they do serve a purpose, and aren't expensive by any means.
