Ex californian here, now living and working in a more gun friendly state just looking for some input on wether it would be worth it to manufacture a couple of cali legal tula krinks and yugo m92's etc. they would have 16" barrels with optional shroud if you want the fake can look, pinned underfolder/sidefolder stocks bullet buttons of course and 10/30 steel or bakelite mags. Also looking to offer 5.45 pistols And some cali legal UZI's. Just hoping to get an idea of what the interest levels are.any suggestions or questions for custom builds let me know

Are you an 07?
Have you surfed these forums for a while? If so, have you noticed that there are a few very savey AK guys here? Many like to do homebuilds but, there is always room for quality commercially made AKs, Krinks, Uzis, etc.

Yes we are an 07 ive always hated how other gun shops i worked for discriminated there cali clients and would like to be able to offer yall custom rifles. As i get some built il post pictures but these are far from garage built kits.

Depending on the price level, I'd be interested in a CA legal Yugo.
I'd def be interested in an M92

Ya price is always the factor i dont want to give any yet as this is new territory for me but will keep updating pricing will be competetive with other ak manufacturers but excpect to see a much better product.

5.45 pistols.. Always thought that was an unspoken no no re: the oly arms debacle years back

nooo please do not sell 5.45 pistols otherwise it may mean the end of 7n6

I wouldn't bother with Uzis unless you are really going to customize them and trick them out with different finishes and fancy hardwood stocks. The only Cal-legal Uzis are SAs with 16" barrel carbines, wood stock or pinned folding stock full size or Mini Uzi pistols. If you look at parts and the No Dak receivers, by the time you buy all of the parts and assemble, you would not be able to sell of less than a new Vector or Century and you need to make some profit for all of your time and labor.
Unless you are bringing a highly customized set of features, don't bother with Uzis.

Your definetly right but im not in this buisness to become rich just to fund more builds and show what we are capable of and be able to supply the custom rifles i wished i could get when i was living in cali.
Any suggestions on firearms other than ak/uzi youl might be interested in?

If it'll look like a bulgarian krinkov, stock don't matter with a "fixed"- de"fixed" sidefolder and be in 7.62x 39, I'll get 2.;)

How about a yugo m92 7.62x39 with a triangle sidefolder like the bulgi or tula krink is that what your looking for?
