View Full Version : surefire m300a or 600c?

I can't seem to decide between the 600 or the 300. I'm leaning towards the 300 b/c I want the lightest possible set up on my AR, however I don't want to sacrifice too much candle power.

What do you guys think?

If lumens are important to your rig, the 600 is less then 2 ounces heavier, plus 1 battery.

plus it gives you the ability to add the KM2 head if you ever decide to play the IR game.

I'm waiting to hear back from my flashlight guy for a quote on the 600. He told me 292 for the 300 with the sr07 rail cover switch.

I think IR is overduing it. I'm not LEO or military, or a mall ninja with stupid amounts of money to blow. I have no need for IR.

Gear Sector sells the 300a with their mount for $283. your price of $292 with the SR07 switch is good, considering the SR07 is worth about $70-80 depending where you buy.

Have you thought about a x300

I have the M300 and love it. It throws a beam bright as hell. Bright enough for me anyway.

I found this vendor from ar15.com. The name of the vendor ir brightflashights.com and he quoted me 352 for m600c and 292 for the m300a delivered (take off 2% more if USPS MO). I'm really happy with the customer service and they reply really quickly to emails.

I wanted the larue offset scout mount so i got that (98.00). Larue charged me 9.00 for shipping, but I'm willing to forgive them because they sent me a bunch a free stuff.
They gave me: stickers, spice rub (WTF?), and a bottle opener.

Dhena: I thought about the x300, but the scout lights and the larue mount really appealed to me. I prefer to keep my handgun lights locked on to my handguns. For that, I have the streamlight TLR-1s (glock 23) and the TLR-2 (kimber railed tle).

socom m4: pics?

So now, the only thing I'm missing is my LWRC (its in jail) and the flashlight to attach to my sad lonely mount.

If you guys care, I'll post pics of the entire set up when I get it and put it together.
