View Full Version : Stag upper feed ramp issue
I put 170 rounds through a new stag h2 upper today and had like 40 jams on it. It looks like the lead IS scraping on the feed ramp and hanging up. Can I fix this or just send it back? Besides that shot side ny side with my colt 6940 and the stag holds it own. Just need to fix the loading issue
This is a factory built upper? or assembled? I assumed pulled apart prior to shooting and properly lubed?
Ammo is reloads or new? Magazines are new or used?
It is factory new complete upper and new american eagle ammo and I used two one month old colt mags that I shared with my colt and fed the colt fine

Buy some Pmags and try again. Wipe the factory lube off the bcg and put your own slip2000 oil on it. Post some pics of your feedramps. Pull your bolt and make sure your rings are staggered and in good shape. Where does the brass land on the clock?
Sounds like you have some poorly cut ramps IMO.
How do I post pics? And can I fix the cut? Maybe file them

Don't file anything! Try the suggestions posted. If nothing else works, call Stag Customer Service for assistance. If you start filing or grinding that upper, you warranty will be nul.
