Ill be posting pics of the land cruiser we just purchased tonight. Ill be taking pics tomorrow. Lifted FJ60 with off road lights roof rack and big 70 lb winch and a chevy corvette 5.7L V8. Locking hubs FTW!

What are you going to pull with that 70lb winch?

I meant the weight of the physical winch not the towing weight. I havent had time to look at it in depth yet. The dang thing is heavier than hell

one last thing, is that the intercool near the brake boost? hows the heat on her in normal?

No, that's the oil cooler.
On flat road the engine runs at 190 degrees. The engine doesn't have a mechanical fan, only the electric one which I don't usually turn on unless I climb. When climbing long, steep grades (like over the Grapewine on 5 Fwy) it goes 200-210 degrees which it is normal for this engine.

I get there in my 88 Samurai. excellent gas mileage on the back roads a little ruff on em to but cant have everything.

I drive to the state I will hunt set up camp and walk from there. No toys, no motors needed and I cant afford a Horse. Yeah at one time I had all the Jeeps ,4x4's Booneduggies,Trail bikes even an old modified Model A.. the best one ever was a Corvair with truck tires.

I was looking for a Sammy before I got my Yoda but these little trucks got so expensive it's unbelievable!

Awesome choice, those things literally everywhere. Ive seen bone stock ones make it through the dunes and lots of other really tricky places.
