View Full Version : Spent casing not leaving

Every 4-5 rounds a spent casing doesn't get ejected. Instead it decides to chill in the upper causing the BCG to get held up.
The extractor pulls it put of the chamber fine but it stays loosely in the upper.

Sometimes the casing can even turn a full 180 degrees and still cause a jam. Keep in mind I have tried three different BCGs, same problem.

Over gassed? Short stroke?

Any red flags I should be looking for?

Did you build the lower yourself? Sounds like a rifle buffer in a carbine to me.

Here's a cheap fix to try, worked for me. I didn't use the o'ring and it cured my problem.

Type of rifle? You didn't mention that bit. Should we just assume AR?
