My AR15 barrel is a 1-8 twist so not sure if I should try them or not. Anyone had any luck with them?

Add says "Flatbase" but pictured is "Boattail bullet".

They may fly out of 1x8" twist but what you gain in weight is lost ballistically by 600 yards if your looking for an across the course 600 yard only bullet.

Add also says "Benchrest" but I dont think your going to shoot benchrest with an AR.

The std. long range load/bullet is 25 grains varget and 80 grain SMK.

AR has a 26" barrel and a 5-20 scope. No way I am using it for 3 gun. :D

Based on the twist of your rifle and barrel length, that should be a pretty decent bullet for your purposes. You might have to try a few different grain bullets until you find the one you want but a 1in8 twist ar-15 is more than capable of shooting an 85gr bullet at decent ranges with good groupings. Sorry, I know I didn't answer your question... but I say try em out and let us know how they shoot :)
