Im in a pickle here. I installed an nstar takedown pin for the dust cover on my yugo sks. There is a small rod that goes in at the end of the pin so it can lock when you turn the pin latch. I pressed the small rod into the pin, which was difficult, then started filing it down to size so it could fit through the "keyhole" in reciever cover. It was tight and when I finally fit it through and latched it down I think the small rod worked itself out a bit. Now it is most likely poking out both sides of the pin making a T shape so I cant get it back through the keyhole part of cover. The latch can spin in 360 bit I simply cant get it back out now. I was thinking of shooting it tomorrow to see if I coukd rsttle something loose but it already doesnt seem thst secure and I dont want to take a reciever cover to the face:/ Suvgestions?
