I am a MallNinja:shuriken:...
It all started the summer of 2008. I found this website that showed me California citizens can own such evil rifles(thanks calguns.net). I did a little research and found it was true. There are others who already own these evil rifles. Parts were getting scarce and expensive because most people assumed that the soon to be president will ban these evil rifles. I started my search and found an FFL who had some stripped lowers in stock(JK supply). I was overwhelmed when I saw that there were four different lowers I can choose from and they all serve the same purpose. I decided on the Spikes Tactical lower because the selector markings are bullet pictograms and it also had the third selection for full auto(we all know it can't go that far but it's tacticool). I started my DROS. Ten days later I went to pick up my lower I purchased everything to complete the lower. Stag LPK, Stag buffer tube, buffer, buffer spring and an FDE Moe stock. I couldn't wait to assemble my lower, I was so excited. Since it's my first "build" I needed to take my time so I waited until the next day.
My uncle owns a small business and asked me to run his business while he was away. I already told my uncle that I would. I brought all my parts and a couple punches with me that day to assemble the lower. I didn't have a vice so it was pretty tricky to punch in the pin for the bolt release but it was done.

I started shopping for an completed upper and found one for a decent price locally. It was an Armalite upper. A flat top carbine, 16" barrel, chrome line with the A2 front sight. Bought it and brought it home to mate with the lower. I decided to get an extended take down pin in case I decided to get the 22 LR conversion. To make it easier to swap out the BCG.

October came around and there was a gun show. I decided to go to see if I can find anything I can add to my rifle. I went and found a vendor who had FDE carbine quad rail hand guard. I bought it and a few hundred rounds of PMC 223. Brought the hand guard home and was struggling to put it on but finally got it on.

Well, I wanted more. For some reason it wasn't enough and I needed to add more to satisfy. So I went and purchased some rail ladder's, a forward vertical grip and a cheapo red dot from Wally's world. I felt so good and tingly inside.

I had it in that configuration for a while. Then, started to learn about free float hand guard. It made me feel obsolete and had the need for free float quad rail hand guard. Fast forward to 2012 I ordered an AR combo wrench, mid length YHM free float quad rail, YHM low profile gas block, FDE Magpul XTM rails, FDE MBUS, FED AFG, Magpul ASAP, Magpul MS3, WARNE R.A.M.P scope mount, Leupold VX-R and a Trijicon RMR. Put everything together and voila!!! I became a Mall Ninja.. Yes, I know. I'm missing the lights and lasers but I do have a Streamlight TLR-2 that I can mount onto it :D

I've assembled about 8 rifles since I started in 2008 but this is my first build and I have never felt so complete so I decided to share. Once again "Thank You, Calguns"
