I just bought a krebs peep sight for my saiga 223 but was wondering if this could be more practical... or im just thinking backwards lol.

I would think that you would need the Krink rear sight block also to make the dust cover fit tight enough to use as a sight. Why would you want a peep sight on an AK?

I already have the krebs peep sight and i shoot FAR more accurate than the standard sight. Was just wondering if an open sight has an advantage to a closed sight

All things being equal open sights are a bit quicker to pick up

I'll second the Tech Sights.

(Then again, Simo Hayha wasted Russians all day long with his Mosin Nagant's open sights.)
