So I had my mind made up on this upper:

http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/ar-15-05/complete-uppers/16-1/psa-16-hammer-forged-midlength-dissipator.html

Now that I have the funds, it is out of stock. I contacted PSA and they said they don't know when it will be back in stock.

Is there anything else out there that is comparable in quality/price?

I really like the idea of the longer sight radius with the midlength gas, and I like the look of the handguards coming right up to the muzzle.

I'm itching to get this rifle put together, so if I can't find something I might have to just go with one of PSAs other 16" uppers.

My advice is to wait a few days... I managed to get one of those uppers and it is awesome. I absolutely love it and its great quality. Right when I was going to order my dissy upper, it went out of stock. I was so bummed and almost ordered a different rifle. Idecided to wait a week and it was back in stock within a few days. I dont know if this will be the case here, but its worth a shot!! :) and BTW, Spikes has a pretty sweet dissy upper... heres the link

unfortunately it looks like its no longer in stock :(
