I stopped by Addax the other day to check the progress on my upper, what an awesome shop they are running. It was fun to see all the sweet guns they had, and I literally held almost all of them. They brought out the parts I had and told me about the parts I still needed due to the shortage I know we all are hearing about. Whoever makes the gas tubes, please get back to it! Anyway, here is an update photo... the gas tube pictured is not mine unfortunately. Killer shop, see them for all your needs... they are good zombie hating folks. :D

Great choice  Chris, Lale, Kyle, & Justing are a great bunch of people. I just got my rifle (not a dissi) from them. Waiting sucks but well worth it.

I have the Addax lower already built, just counting the days.

What's the wait time on one of these things?

The wait is a while. Addax will give you an estimated time but things are slow right now. It's best to call and ask.

Thanks for the good word guys.

The old saying 'Quality takes time' applies here.

We also hate waiting so long for certain parts, but we would rather provide our customers with quality products built with quality components that meet and exceed our standards and those of our customers.

Thank you for supporting Addax Tactical.:D

Addax Elite Dissipator Upper we are currently quoting 4 months.

Election year jitters have folks scrambling to buy parts, uppers, lowers, guns etc. and this has impacted many firearms companies.

Addax products = "Well Worth The Wait and Well Worth Every Penny."

I have two of their uppers (The ZK GPU and their M4) and I couldn't be any happier.

Great customer service over there at Addax. I'd go there more often if they were closer to me.

Can I buy the BCG separate? I see it on the website but I don't see a option to buy it.

Edit: Never mind Sold out anyway.

isnt the lack of dwell time usually frowned upon?

As long as the loss of dwell time is compensated for by opening up the gas port hole slightly (nothing extreme) you can get reliable function without issue using decent quality ammunition.

It is basically the same thing that is done on SBR's, 14.5" middies etc.

The huge plus of the Dissipator is the longer rifle length hand guard and sight length vs. a carbine or mid-length.

Not Exactly (http://www.03designgroup.com/technotes/carbine-vs-mid-length-gas-system)

why not just spend the extra $ to do it right and put a lopro gas block under the full length handguards?

Loooool. Try reading the dissy thread in the rifles forum. Some of the guys here have thousands of flawless rounds (even blanks) through theirs. I've got about 1k through mine...light, smooth shooting, almost nonexistent recoil.

"Loooool..." and it supports my beliefs

net time is too short w/ rifle gas/ 16" barrel and opening the port to get more gas in there increases pressure..though thats not exactly the worst thing on a gpu...
