Well, it was a year in the making, mostly just the wait for the optics. This was my first time shooting a precision rifle. I've shot longer distances with rifles using irons, but I was never really trying to make my shots count.

Took some time getting the scope zeroed as I didn't bore sight, and then I ran out of the practice ammo and went to my premium Federal and my zero changed.

Overall I had a great time, and I really am looking forward to pressing my own rounds to see how accurate I can get. Next on the list though is a new stock, the Accustock, while accurate, is just not ergonomic for the type of shooting I'm doing.

It's about 45 minutes from me... I moved to Los Alamitos, so maybe I'll update my location. :)

I have a storage container there and I run all my classes out of ASR, so after the free military class we held today we hit the rifle range.

Yeah, 100 yard zero to start. The 20MOA base kind of threw me off, there was a lot of adjusting to get on paper. I probably don't need the 20MOA right now, but I was just getting what I thought I would want in the end.

I had a better group after these, but I forgot to get a picture before we turned the target in. Still have a TON to learn about the precision rifle aspect, but it's a blast! Now I want to build a precision AR for cheaper, closer shooting.
