Welcome to the forum. I just moved from AV but was born and raised there.

Unfortunatly, there are no good gun stores in town. When I am in town and need something, I either order it or make the trip to Ammo Bros.

Where do you shoot? I have a place in Mojave I like to go to but also end up at A Place To Shoot on occasion because of the cool stuff they have to shoot at with my handguns and the trap shooting station. If I were living there now, I would probably join desert marksman. They give you the code to the gate and you can go whenever you want.

I usually end up at A Place to Shoot - but were going to trek up towards kern next weekend to a remote spot and make a day trip out of it. I recently found out about a range in angeles crest as well, $100 a year ($60 to renew), 365 24/7 access that I am interested in.

And thanks for the welcome everyone :cool2:
