Is anyone aware of a light that stays on once you hit the pressure pad and release?

I know that the Surefire SR series of tape switches (SR02, SR06) have both a momentary on and a constant on. Press and release for momentary, press the button section to get a click at which point the light is constantly on (until the button is pressed again).

I have the Surefire SR07 switch for my X300 and mini scout lights. A little pricey but they work very well.

Novatac SPL120

a really nice light kit you can get on ebay for about $100 - you can't beat that deal for a light with that kind of power/features/quality

look at 4seven or fenix lights. cost 60% less than a surefire and is just as good.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you on that. Yes Fenix and 4seven make some nice products, but they haven't been proven to handle the abuse the Surefire torches can. Surefire makes a product that can go to hell and back, so consider your intended use of the product.

It's also good to support a US company that supplies our war fighters with a top quality product over the Chinese competitors.
