Are they any good? Anybody have one that could report on how it performs?

Do at least primary arms. For the price they are good to go.

tru glos are fine for a cheap "starter". Search ebay. You can find really good prices. Work fine on my 10/22. Not sure I would trust it on something that really goes "bang" though.

Along with the Primary Arms Micro Dot, the Busnell TRS is supposed to be pretty good too.

TruGlo is just as good as an Eotech. Eotech is over rated. - DelTon owner ;)

For just plinking at the range the truglo will suffice.

I have a Truglo on a Mossberg 9200 semi auto 12 gauge. I've had it a little over a year. It works fine, battery life's excellent and so far no problems whatsoever.
