Oh know....

......another ban...

and hype and marketing and a depleted wallet.........

I am beginning to think the real conspiracy is that the gun manufactures come up with something gimmicky then pay the lobbies to threaten a ban on it, then pay other lobbyist to fight the ban, then drag it out five years, then for some last minute sales before discontinuing the model they pay the lobbyist fighting for a ban a bit more, and the ban is passed....

,......and the next day I go out and buy one at twice what it cost two years earlier....

and then I go hungry for a few months as I spent the food money on a banned firearm.

My safe is full, my closet is full, under my bed there is no room, the attic is stuffed full, they are polking out of cabinets in the garage, and now it looks like I am going to have to buy more and store them next to the beer in the frig.....;)

Yep, another ban, another empty wallet....

I don't think it will be too long before a current manufacturer of a semi-auto handgun model currently on the DOJ approved list comes out with a version of that model chambered in 7.62X25, having both a loaded chamber indicator and a magazine disconnect, that will also pass the DOJ approval safety test without issue. The mass influx of the surplus CZ-52 over the past few years has made the round popular, generating genuine interest from high-end collectible gun buyers and low-end budget gun buyers alike, in that we may see a new model gun chambering it to meet that interest.

At some point, some S&W designer will be fooling around at the range one day with a CZ-52, and will be thinking, "Wow, I really like this round and this little gun, it's neat, it's cheap, and it seems LOTS of other respectable people in the firearms industry like it too... but what if...".
