Well I went a little crazy, perhaps more than a little crazy as I realized when the ginormagantuan box showed up.

I bought the entire inventory of a dismanteler because he had a few guns that I wanted and it was an all or nothing kinda deal at a very good price that I can pass on to you guys.

So.... in the interest of not making my living room into a gunshow I'm selling off the extras.

I have 303 Enfield bareled recivers, some have a few little parts attached, but mostly just the barrel and the receiver. most are in ok shape, they'd make a good tacticool build starting point, or if you wanted to do some kind of custom rifle. most have bright bores, some are dark but may just need a good cleaning. They look like they have two distinctly different patterns of rifling. the extra gunk on the receivers may or may not be cleaned off by me before it makes its way to you, if I don't get around to wiping them all down, there will be no extra charge for the grime. *** edit to add, its not actually grime, I wiped a bit of it off one of them, turns out its cosmoline, they are in nice shape***50$ each ftf in LA
http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u115/Ratduster77/DVC00130.jpg
I have some mosin Nagant 91/30 barreled receivers, these are in good shape and look to be the early imports not the junk you get at big 5 nowadays.the look to have nice well defined rifling and no dark spots, and the finish is good too. production years range all over the place, but all are in dang nice shape even the wartime ones are nicer than many I've seen. these are GREAT starting points for you guys who want to build up a tacticool rifle or custom tacdriver without buying a surpluss rifle to throw away most of it, or bubba up a piece of history. These are really clean and quite nice 35$ each or 3 for 100$ FTF ***EDIT Now 30$ each or 4 for 100$*****

http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u115/Ratduster77/DVC00133.jpg

Lastly I have a M95 Steyr carbine bareled receiver, its in rediculously nice shape, clean crisp excelent, and would make a good starting point for any aplication you might have. 50$ FTF

http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u115/Ratduster77/DVC00131.jpg

And now the fine print, all these are C&R guns, so no DROS will be necicary, no waiting period, no tax/fees etc. Just cash and Cary. however you will need to be 18 years old and I will need to copy down your Drivers Licence info when you get them for my reccords and to cover my butt. These are for sale FTF only, I'm not willing to ship at this time.

I'm located near where the 405 meets the 10 by culver city and can meet on Friday or on weekends. in this area.

These will go first come first serve, Post I'll take it in the thead along with what you want and how many of them, then PM me and we'll set up a meeting.

Help me thin down the numbers a bit before my wife kills me

Ok.. just a quick update... All the enfields are no4mk1 as far as I can tell, I haven't looked closely at all of them, but I don't think they are no4mk2 and I wouldn't know how to tell if they were no1mk3 or any of the other varieties, I'm just not up on my enfields like I should be.

(If someone has an identification guide I'd appriciate it)

Just an update,

I'll entertain trades, some of the things I'm interested in are:

Guns:
Beretta 92
Makarov
8mill Mauser (C&R)
AR/AK lowers
???

Gun Parts:
AR parts
a Remmington 870 barrel 21 inches long with a modified choke and rifle sights
a remmington 870 bolt/trigger/internal parts assembly.
mossberg 500 parts (bolt, magtube, slide assembly, trigger assembly etc)
SKS parts
Mosin Nagant parts. (synthetic stocks, bent bolts scope rails etc)
Enfield Parts. (Bolts, triger assemblys, synthetic stocks)

Ammo (.22, 9mm, .32 auto, .38 spl, .223, 7.62x25 x39 x51 x54, 12 gauge, 20 gauge)

Cash is prefered, but I'd like to get these into the hands of guys who are going to build them up. Where else are you going to find a receiver that you don't have to pay DROS on thats cheaper than the fees you would have had to pay at a store?

If you walked into the gunstore and they had a 15$ rifle receiver.. you wouldn't buy it? what if it was free.. you wouldn't pay the transfer fees?

You know you want them.

Just a bump, and I thought of a few other things I'd trade for.

I'm looking for AK parts kits, a Rommy G would work just fine, My brother is graduating in a month and I'd like to build him up a rifle as a gift.

I'd also like to get a Harris bipod or two, (or quality knockoffs)

and a good hard Rifle case would be nice (perhapse a pelican or something durable)

Where was the 95 receiver manufactured? Which caliber?

AJAX22
05-19-2007, 8:23 PM
The 95 Receiver is a 1930s one which was made in Austria, then captured by bulgaria and rechambered to 8x56R. I believe it is one of the ones that started out life as a rifle length action and was cut down to a carbine length during the re-arsenel process.

I hope this answers your question.

What's the bore look like?

The bore looks good, it'd look better if I ran a patch through it, but aside from a few specs of dirt or dust or whatever its nice and bright.

on all these rifles (especially the nagats) the bores are in pretty good shape, some have some gunk in them (mostly cosmoline) but I havents seen any of them that made me flinch.

here are some fresh receiver pics.

If all your Enfields look like the one in the bottom of that pic then they are No4 mk1. Not mk2 or the No1 mk3.

Yep, thats the general consensus. I'm not a big enfield guy, but I'm learning a smidgen at a time.

bump again, I'd also be interested in:
some kind of modern handheld gaming device (nintendo DS, gameboy advanced, games for them etc)
a pintle for my 1919A4
someone to do the machine work on the internals for my 1919
A 9mm olympic arms barrel for my AR carbine.
the latest MMGrip

one more rifle has found a new home, but there are still enough to go around.

I'm currently building one of the nagats into a tacticool butt kicker, I'll post pics when its a bit farther along.

Man,

You need to get some clothes on those poor guys, they look really really naked like that and that is obscene.

So where would one go to find sheap SMLE parts to build these guys bcck up.

AJAX22
05-31-2007, 7:15 PM
well I've got quite the harrem.

I'm currently working on getting a few of them dressed to kill, but I want to keep them under wraps untill they look presentable.

SMLE parts turn up at gunshows, ebay, gunbroker, online, all over the place really, they fluctuate alot on price too, so you just have to keep your eyes peeled for the screamin good deals.

a lot of aftermarket parts are available to replace the factory ones with 'tacticool' style stuff.

the cool thing about enfields is that they are designed to be headspaced simply by switching the number of the head on the bolt, its something anyone can do in 30 seconds.

the nagants are the easiest and cheapest to find parts to build up (my superawesomecool sniper of doom will be posted in the next week or so, no optics or mount yet, but I'm working on it)

Bump, I may be making a road trip up north in a few weeks (San Luis Obispo) so if you live along the 101 and have been eyeballing these there's a chance I could meet you at a gas station or starbucks on my way up north. depending on when exactly I have to make the trip will determine the feasability of trying to pull this off.

Bump,

I just took inventory and found that I have exactly ONE M44 receiver that I don't have a use for so I might as well sell it along with some of the other nagants. 40$ takes it (It's beautifull, appears to be unissued) or I'll include it in the buy 3 for 100$ deal (two 91/30's and a m44 for 100$).

I may be unable to respond to posts for the weekend, but will answer all pm's when I get back.

keep the peace.

Alrighty because I still have more than I want to store, I'm going to do a super spiffy extra cool deal.

91/30 Receivers are now priced at 30$ each or 4 for 100$ this deal is available this weekend, and weekday evenings up untill thursday. After that they will no longer be for sale, they will be greased packed and in long term storage.

There are still two enfield's and a steyr for 50$ each that are available for the same timeframe.

I'm bumping this a tad early (sorry)

But I just want to be clear,

Today/tonight is the LAST day these are up for sale. As of midnight tonight if you haven't contacted me and specifically stated "I'll take X number of .... for $..." Then its not happening. I may get back up to my storage in a year or two, or I may build one or two up into complete rifles just because I feel like it and list those for sale. But the barreled receivers won't be offered up again for quite some time. It's a lot of work for me to grease them, pack them up with desecrates, and transport them 240 miles to my storage location so It won't be happening again for a long time.

Keep the peace guys.
