Always wanted to get a derringer, saw this bad boy at Markleys, a gun store near my neck of the woods, and decided I had to have it!

Cobra Big Bore Derringer in .38 Special

and me showing off a farmers tan!

and finally, results! from a stupidly close distance and a few lucky shots at further away

Sexy. How hard is it to get a good grip on it?

The trigger was a pain in the butt to pull for the first maybe 20 rounds I put through it, but now it's starting to ease up.

It's not too hard, but then again I don't exactly have bear paws for hands, so I can grip it fairly well, my friend who is 6'2 and about 260 lbs said it took a few minutes to adjust to it, but didn't find it uncomfortable.

I got that same little gun a while ago, finally got around to shooting it. Also got the same color as yours but now I wished I would of got the silver. Also ordered a holster from ebay waiting on it to come in. http://www.ebay.com/itm/160859203474?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
Got some of those bianchi speed strip rubber things to hold 6 rounds to just easy way to carry extra ammo. Its nice to have such a small weapon you can still legally carry in your pocket in a small locked container compared to a larger gun.

I was all ready for the difficult trigger but for me it was no problem. Only problem I had was on first loading I forgot about half cock so had hard time trying to lock it shut

Are those grips the one cobra sells, if they are im ordering them. Some reason I was picturing cheap looking grips but those look perfect.

Didnt have a chance to target shoot to see how accurate it is
and had no hearing protection. Even outdoors each shot is deafening and made my ears ring like crazy. Although I did look pretty cool in a helmet

Can't buy anything here

if it helps I can get my entire middle finger on the grip
and the ring finger on the bottom but only half of the finger
the back curve feels fine nice and smooth
nothing poking out

sights are a little small if you even have a chance to use them

really didnt feel much recoil when shot but only did like 6 shots at that time
just to make sure it works
