Hello Everyone,

At this time, Matt's mother and grandmother asked me to express their most deepest and sincere gratitude to all of you. All of your support has been incredibly comforting and consoling throughout this entire ordeal. Although Matt is one of the strongest men i know, it is a mother's natural instinct to protect her child, and both his mother and grandmother are overwhelmed with impotence as they feel they are not able to provide him with that protection being where he is. So all of your support has given them a sense of ease knowing that there are so many of you supporting and believing in him. Once again, on behalf of his family ...a heartfelt Thank You.

Matt received his virtual card and his $100 money order! He was very encouraged! He was in disbelief! He'd like to thank everyone who has been supporting him and for those who took the time to do something so thoughtful. His mother told me he received his parcel on Friday, I assume he also received any other letters anyone might have sent him. He also received a few books she sent him, reading is another one of his passions, so he was very happy about that as well.

I got in contact with his attorney and he explained to me that he feels it is best we show our support by attending the bail reduction hearing as opposed to the hearing tomorrow. I dont have a date for the bail reduction hearing but I suppose it will be established tomorrow. I don't feel comfortable posting any details but if you would like to PM me in regards to this, you may do so.

Joseph also indicated to me that he would be posting an update for all of you shortly.

Once again, a huge thank you to all of you!

Our continued prayers and support will be with Matt. As a parent I understand the frustration and hope there is relief soon.
