While I was in vegas I saw a Ar-15 style semi-auto 50bmg rifle. Can't remember the name or the price, and google is not helping. Would be cool to find more info for my dream list.

Was it a Barret?

Are you sure it was .50BMG?

Could it have been a Beuwulf by Alexander Arms? Its .50 but not BMG.

It wasn't a Barret, and I know it was not a 50 beowolf.

I was so high on full auto adrenaline that I forget the name of it.

It had a HUGE magazine well, I am pretty sure it was 50 bmg. Had a chaging handle on the bolt too (not a fan, I like the original Ar charging handle, but whatever).

May have to call the shop tomorrow to get the name.

There was one for sale in the for sale section last month. I believe it was in Fresno.

Did the magazine feed from the side of the upper receiver?

I am going to guess its the Tactilite from Zel Custom - http://www.tactilite.com/

They do a a lot of BIG caliber uppers that drop right onto ar lowers. The magazine fed 50 BMG they offer is about $2500 in its basic setup. They have some neat stuff, just wish I had a shooting range over 200 yards somewhere near here to make purchasing o e worthwhile.

Bohica was working on a SA 50BMG upper before they closed. Maybe it's one of their prototypes???

Hey guys, I saw this gun that kinda looked like this other gun and it might have been this one caliber but it definitely wasn't the caliber you think it was and I know that because I am vaguely sure it was different but the same. And I didn't like the charging handle. Can you please tell me what I saw so I don't have to make a 2 minute phone call? Thanks.

I don't know what the hell you are looking for. You give us a broad description and we are taking shots in the dark. People have posted pics and links of .50bmg uppers that mount to AR lowers. If you don't want to play 20 questions then don't post it here and ask people to guess and then get pissy when you don't get the answer you think you want.

He said an AR15 style semi auto .50 BMG rifle. None of the uppers posted are semi auto.

That's quick in the 50 world. I waited two years for my ALS upper but, I wanted something that even I could shoot .5 mos groups at 1000 yards with.

HAHA wow! You came in here without even a description, and just expect us to know exactly what you're looking for. Then you get critical when people try to help you figure out what it was you were seeking? Great people skills dude

How outdated is that web site, and how outdated is the info you got from the shop you called?

Cobb Manufacturing was acquired by Bushmaster in 2007.

currently sold as the BA50:

Just because BM bought out Cobb in 2007, it doesn't mean that the rifle in question isn't new old stock made by Cobb.

I was able to guess it. I posted it a while back, just as the BA50 which, I think, is what Bushmaster calls it.
