Cool, got $70k and a free state address I can borrow? :lurk5:

Would LE have to clear it with the boss to own one in CA?

I find it amazing that if i lived 300 miles east of where i do, and i had the funds,i could have a machine gun sent direct to me with my c and r. Meanwhile, in kaliforniastan i have to wait 10 days to pick up a bolt action mosin if i foolishly want to buy the weapon in person.
Freedom is an interesting concept isnt it?

Of course, you can buy that Mosin from a California individual instantly, or have it mailed to you.

Cool, but I'd rather have an MG-42 and 30k left over.

Maybe but, one would also need DOJ to issue a DWP which, they just won't do.

Ah, I wasn't sure if CA LEO's were able to own MG's.

Cool, but I'd rather have an MG-42 and 30k left over.

That's what I'm talkin bout. :43:

Wow! Sweet!

What caliber is the M60? Maybe I can afford a few rounds of ammo for it?

7.62x51

Using 10 round belts would slow you down enough that it wouldn't be too expensive to shoot. :p

Mmmm... M60..

Here's an interesting Antique I found on GB: Chinese Rampart Rifle (http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=288374145)

It's basically a jumbo sized M71 Mauser that shoots .75cal rounds. Early Anti-Material Weapon/Precision Artillery Piece. Wish I had the money...

My uncle has a non C&R transferrable M60 in NC. It's 'only' worth about $40K :D

It's fun to shoot until you think about how much money you're spraying out with one belt of ammo.
