View Full Version : DIY: Kydex Saiga 12 Magazine Pouch

Looking around I found that the Saiga 12 magazine pouches were pretty pricey. I bought a sheet of 12"X24" Kydex to make a couple of my own with a one piece modified "L" pattern.

Just made my own Saiga 12 magazine pouch out of Kydex with no special tools.

Retention is great. Easy access.

It's a push/twist motion to release the magazine.

1/8" thick Kydex. Just make a template with paper trace it onto the Kydex. Heat the Kydex and cut with scissors or utility knife.

Heat as needed to shape around the magazine pouch.

I added a Chicago screw to hold the belt clip to the mag pouch portion. It's as simple as drilling a hole.

It's pretty easy.
