At the exact same time, Mangal grabbed his revolver and the robber, still at the door, knew he made a mistake.

I like the attitude of the female customer being interviewed; "...he has a right to protect himself..." Wow, good to hear for a change. :D

Where's Barry to claim that if he had a son, he'd look a lot like hoodie boy?

Awesome story.

I was at Target Masters West a couple months ago, I saw several middle eastern gentlemen in the story looking at handguns and trying them out. I got curious and asked them if they were with some church or community.Turns out they were 7-11 store owners from all over the bay area that got together after being robbed one too many times, any were finally doing something about it.

That put a big smile on my face....

These store owners should invest in pistol training.

Be great if the community could pay for him to take a basic pistol course from a local trainer as a token of gratitude. Armed (and trained) shop keepers in the community who fight back keep the community as a whole safer and empower the community to reject lawlessness.

Maybe go one step further and invite a bunch of convenience store owners to a range for an afternoon of firearms defensive measures. A little more support to our cause from some small business owners wouldnt be a bad thing,,

7/11 has a corporate policy AGAINST self defense.

good for them, NOT! If it boils down to living or dying for the corporate agenda there is no prize for guessing which one will win. and if the store is franchised corporate can stick it.

7/11 has a corporate policy AGAINST self defense.

Who do you think funds groups like the Bradys, LCAV, etc.? The very people who own such corporations, that's who.

That 7/11 has a corporate policy against self-defense is almost certainly no accident.
