Hey exile ,

I was very pleased with your service from my last purchase, I am thinking about getting some 10/20 pmags from you.

Just out of curiosity, how come you guys do not assemble them? Is it a legal issue, or just how the kits come?

I have purchased from rifle gear and Midwest px. I would purchase the kits from exile machine if I were to buy any more though.

Thanks for the business!

CA law says they have to be "permanently" modified to hold 10 rounds. There are so many ways to do this and varying opinions of what the word "permanent" means, that we have left the permanence step up to the end user. Some choose epoxy, some rivets, some drilling and pinning, some just leave them as-is.

I bought the pmags and mag blocks seperate from Exile so I would have the regular baseplate to be able to make true 30's when training out of state. Also got the BB tool that screws into the mag. Works great.

I was happy with some I got from Midwest PX (the cut down stubbys are cool), but I think my next batch I'll go the home rolled route with Exile.

Get the kits from Exile and buy either Original or Ranger plate Magpuls from www.ubbt.net with their Ultimate Bullet Button Tool attached to facilitate mag changes.

Got a few from riflegear and exile machine. I prefer exile machine because I can secure the mags however I want. I believe I will eventually rivet the base plate to the mag block.

I bought mine from exile machine. The 10th round fits perfectly. No need to worry about having to force it in there

I don't
I just buy pmag kits at sac black rifle, and then get blocks in bulk online. each mag ends up costing about $15 and I don't have to worry about if they will actually hold 10 rounds or not, and they can be taken down into kit form again for out of state training

+1 for exile machine, great price and customer service. I got my PMag rebuild kit(ssssss) from them at a great price and a 10/30 MagBlock, it will take 10 rounds, will NO WAY allow the 11th round and will lock in the mag well with a hard slap and will load the first and following rounds without a problem.
