Every time that I see a post that asks how many guns one has or what do you have in jail? I get extremely suspiscious. Why do they want to know?
It is NO ONE's business except mine how many guns I own or what they are.
We legitimate gunj owners have lots of enemies out there, most of them unscrupulous. How many of these questions come from the enemy?
Remember the quote: "Just because you are paranoid, does not mean they're
not out to get you!"

The Zen of Forums, for a calmer life:
1. Don't read posts that don't interest you or that irritate you.
2. Don't bother posting if rule #1 applies.

As for who knows your weapon count, certainly the government knows about every DROS'd gun.

I prefer “you’re not paranoid if they really are out to get you"

I thought/heard the government wasn't supposed to keep these records? Would it just be ignorant to believe that?

Feds don't. CA keeps tracks of handguns.

Just don't partake in the discussion. Simple.

Then again...this is a gun forum. It's gonna get pretty boring around here if nobody is willing to talk about their guns. If you're not comfortable answering someone's question, then don't. Pretty simple.

Until there's a limit on how many firearms an individual can own, who cares?

However, one thing I will never do is post a picture that displays a serial number. I've noticed that people do that.

Tell people you own 700 and see what happens.

On this board, you're going to get a lot of comments such as:

"Good start!"

"Get a safe."

"Where do you live, again?"

Heh, just like when someone posts an action photo and everyone chimes in about how they need to improve their stance, grip, etc.
