Are the gun shows going to be hands down better than any online retailers?

If not, which websites should I be checking?

I have never purchased ammo online before.

Factory loads or re-loads? I have had nothing but good experiences with re-loads from both LAX Range and Bullet-Man 911. Over 2,000 rounds with both.

ammoengine.com
ammonow.com
luckygunner.com
slickguns.com, etc.

I buy all my ammo online; keep watching for best deals w/free shipping. With a bit of searching, I generally pay around $0.33/rnd for fmjs (by the case) I don't think you can do better at guns show, what with fuel, parking, admission . . . .

Probably just factory loads for now, recently took a reloading class, so I will be saving all my brass for possible reloading in the future.

For factory brass cased .45ACP you will be hard pressed to find it at sub $15 (per box of 50) prices even at Walmart or gun shows. A few weeks ago, sgammo.com and aimsurplus.com had Aguila .45ACP for $299/1000 rds but those have run dry.

Buying online there is shipping, but buying locally there is tax and parking/entry fees at gun shows so they cancel each other out pretty quickly.

Here are some of the reasonably decent prices still out there.

I don't usually buy online anymore because the shipping costs....you really don't save any money over the internet

I can only add www.surplusammo.com. Was ammoman.com listed? I'm having a senior mooment....
IMO, shipping cost are offset by the cost of parking and entry to gunshows.

I bought 1k of .45 from Freedom Munitions and shot about half so far and haven't had any problems. I plan on buying some more from them soon and try some more calibers.
