I've yet to see one 200-250.

Gun prices are about the same here. The used market isnt quite as retarded as CA's. People aren't asking for over retail for a used gun

SETX

Being an election year, used AK's are selling for around $350 - $400 even though Budsgunshop.com is selling them new for $439 shipped.

Some of the price is due to the person-to-person transaction laws that keep it off the regulatory radar. So, paying a few more dollars for a private sale can be a factor, and it was for me.

Also, the economy down here in the oil patch hasn't gotten bad enough to suppress AK values.

Thats a good deal. Most AK parts kits are easily $250+. Completed factory made AK's are $500+ in CA. I wish i could snag a couple that cheap...

some of us sell used guns at good value for buyer... I've sold three in the past two months with two people that got a great deal.

But yes, you are right - there are some kooks that want to make more money than the merchant that sold them the gun (and ammo)... synonymous with the litigious society we are in - too many people want to take advantage of others... the state is going broke over the concept.
