You have an upper for it already or is the start of a new build?

Cool story bro. First AR?

My cool story of the day is I built my second stripped lower and now I have none left. Might have to go shopping.

I've had one for about 4 months but have yet to fire it. The only problem I see with it is that it uses a "polymer" Hammer. I'm looking for a steel hammer for it.
BTW don't dry fire the lower without an upper attached. It will snap off and or break the receiver.

Cool bro!! Funny thing is, I just put one in jail today too. Went in to buy other stuffs but for $132 otd i wanted to try it. Wasn't planning on buying it and as of now I dont even know what upper I'm going to go with yet. Was planning on a cheap upper, if not a 22 or 9 for the new shooters that goes out with me to the range.

Ditto on putting a LW-15 in jail. Handled it a bit and was pleased with the quality for the price.

Congrats! Picked mine up yesterday. Seems to be pretty good quality for the price. I will put it to use soon.

Got mine out last week. Still in its bubble wrap. Trying to find a complete upper M4 on the cheap. Not because I'm cheap, its because I'm poor.

I pick mine up on Tuesday. It looks like a toy gun receiver but I have heard nothing but positive reviews from people that bought them.

Oh and I got a minor scuff installing the bolt catch roll pin. Annoying since my first build was flawless.

Probably going to break out some flat black spray paint and smear it on there.

FourLoko,

Try a Birchwood Casey Alumiblack touch up pen. They work great for those little mistakes.

Sitting here being bored I installed a CMMG lpk in an Aero Precision lower I bought. Just comparing trigger pull and smoothness the NFA seems pretty good. This is just a newbs opinion but I am still pretty impressed.

Only downside I found was you cant use a raddlock on it =(

Bullet Button is a bit stiff too, it should smooth out with use though.

(Just picked mine up today as well)

I had a one of the very first LW15's - problem with the pivot pin was repaired at no charge by the selling dealer upon delivery. NFA sent me a replacement LPK which I have not felt the need to install. Trigger is crisp and very nice.

I know the upper is a bigger part of the equation but I have about 500 rounds through mine and there have been no hiccups whatsoever. A great value!

I got one too, trigger pull seems light and breaks crisp compared to my Spike's LPK- you can dry fire it but just make sure you let the hammer down slowly with your thumb. Was supposed to shoot it today but stupid cowboy comp at Raahauges prevented that..

I have a radlock on my LW15 and it works fine.

how did you fit it? did you shave off the "wings" of the raddlock?

I also DROS'd one today. My buddy bought 5 complete lowers and i went in today to look at them. I was a bit sceptical till my LGS owner said lifetime warranty so i went ahead with it. Seems pretty solid. Its my first build but ive heard good things about them.

I have the "Gen-X" radlock if that makes any difference. It has wings but it still fits inside the mag release well. I also sandwiched the rubber o-ring between the button and outside of the lower, not inside. Feels kind of mushy but works. Really convenient when I go back and forth between 22lr and 5.56 uppers.

Finished my 2nd build a couple of weeks ago. Waiting on backordered goodies before I post a thread. Currently working on my third. Going to try and keep it under 6lbs. Also looking forma 5-10 pack of AR lowers. If anyone knows where to get them it would be greatly appreciated.

Riflegear has them in stock. I think most retailers also raised their prices for the LW-15 to $110...but Riflegear is still selling them for $99! They rock.
