I debating whether to rattle can my R700 and SOCOM II stocks. Both are all black and I would like to put some color to them. Pictured is a Saiga I did (sold to fund the Socom). I think I came out nice but the paint chipped off easy. I just want to do the stocks so I don't really want to spend a fortune on Duracoat of Ceroke (however you spell it). What should I do?

Looks good to me, go for it. The great thing about rattlecan paintjobs is if you dont like it acetone makes it go away

Do you have any larger photos? :)

I wouldn't, but even though I never EVER sell guns I always think about resale.

do it. If you dont like it, remove it.

Its not whether I'll like it or not its how durable it is. I didn't primer or clear coat the Saiga and it chipped easy

They have a matte clear that helps a lot with the durability of the paint job.
