Moving back to CA for family reasons. I left for 12yrs now and have acquired a few firearms during that time. I've been doing quite some reading and research on here and could someone please re-assure me that I have this right.

Here is a list of the gear I've got:

Handguns:

-HK USP9 fullsize
-HK USP45 fullsize
-SIG 1911 GSR stainless railed
-Norinco Tokarev

Now, from what I understand, for the handguns:

-Disassemble all mags greater than 10rd capacity
-Mags must be less than 10rd capacity
-Register them within 60days.

Rifles:

-Norinco MAK90
-AR15 build with POF lower/LaRue Stealth upper 16" barrel with all "Evil Features"
-AR308 build with Mega lower/upper, 18" barrel with all "Evil Features"
(Evil Features = threaded barrel on both ARs, muzzle devices(NOT permanently attached) on both, pistol grips on both, UBR on AR15 build and PRS on AR308 build)
-Browning A-Bolt 30-06
-DPMS LR308 lower and upper receiver only

For the rifles:

-I need to get rid of the MAK90 and the DPMS lower/upper receivers (on ban list)
-Registration of long guns not necessary
-Install bullet buttons in both ARs and have mags that are less than 10rds (I don't care for 30rd capacity, I favor "Evil Features")
-Disassemble all mags greater than 10rds

I reload and some light smithing so there's also a ton of gear there but I believe there's no laws against that other than not having more than 20lbs of smokeless powder? I'm probably just bringing back completed rounds only anyways.

Did I get it right? Did I miss anything? Thanks in advance!

With all due respect, please don't chime in to tell me to not move back. I'm determined to do so for the family, they mean the world to me and that's all that matters right now. If you don't understand then I don't need your advice.

Yep you got everything right.

And bring as many off roster handguns you can. I'm sure you can be compensated for your moving costs. Help out your fellow Californians. :)

You dont have to ditch the DPMS upper....keep it....its not a firearm. Also....whats the status on the mak90..?? Is it a home build or was it rebuilt by a Co. thats not listed..?? If its truly a full blown Mak90 you can demill it and rebuild it here at one of the many AK build parties on a non banned reciever.

It's a full blown MAK90 that originally came from CA a few years ago. It's got a threaded barrel but no bayo lug. It magically appeared in the backyard. Dam pigeons like to travel and leave stuff behind. ;)

I'll be coming from STL, MO.

You are good to go. No need to sell the DPMS upper, only the lower has to go.

Lets see, 12 years ago was 2000 so if you had the standard mags prior to leaving california and prior to the standard mag ban, then i dont see why they are not ok.

That's a cool MAK. Looks like a 74, neat. I'd rebuild that thing on a Nodak.

Sounds like the OP already has this all figured out. I didn't see them in the pics, but make sure your pistols don't have any threaded barrels. Legal to own, but not legal to have installed in the pistols unless you make them fixed magazine. (just a common feature people don't think about)

To clarify a point that most people out of California think is a law. Threaded barrels are not evil features on a rifle. Bayonet lugs are not either. The CA AWB is not a copy of the federal AWB, like some of the eastern states have adopted.
