It's not a:
Colt: AR-15 (all)
Colt: Law Enforcement (6920)
Colt: Match Target (all)
Colt: Sporter (all)

All(some) Colt lowers were previously one of the above, therefore banned by name.
Colt now makes rifles that have different names.

Profit!

Ahh, I see. I thought it was a blanket ban on the Brand name itself. Didn't know they were model specific. Neat!

The Colt model SP-1 isn't named either. But nobody has said if it's legal.

An SP-1 is marked Colt AR-15, so it would be a listed model and not legal.

I don't understand. I thought the whole "series" thing was tossed out of court. "AR-15" is the "series" and model is what we are talking about. The model SP-1 of the Colt "series" is not listed. Otherwise, ANYTHING marked Colt is "evil".

Colt Law Enforcement 6920 banned. Colt Law Enforcement 6940 not banned. ROFLMAO

That's what happens when you elect people who have never accomplished ANYTHING in life to write your laws. They get outsmarted by those who DO accomplish things for a living.

An Colt SP1 has AR15 on the side which makes it banned by name:

As I understand it, the series weapons were not tossed out of court, the ruling was if it was to be banned as a series weapon it had to be listed (Kassler list) by make and model and not by general feature, so the portion of the law that says if it looks like an AR or AK it's banned was tossed. An example would be the Colt Sporter, there are different versions on the Colt Sporter and all versions are listed as a series weapon.
