Hi Guys,

How much do you guys think is a resonable price for a brand new blued Colt Series 70 with 100 years of service roll mark including SingleShot, transfer and tax?

Thanks

The 100 Years of Service model is a $950 - $1,100 pistol. After Single-Shot Conversion, Interstate Tax, Dealer Transfer, and DROS, I would expect to pay upwards of $1,300.

What he said ^^^

Paid $1100 for a used (but I think the guy shot it once and put in the safe) one. And it wasn't a special roll mark. I might have negotiated $1000, but it was the wife's birthday present and she REALLY wanted a series 70.

You can get an original series 70 for about a grand- I've seen some considerably less and some a little more. Personally I'd never spend that kind of money or more for a reproduction, but since my opinion was not asked for I'll just say that if you want a new repro and and get that deal, then go for it.

Compared to last year, there aren't many new ones around, so that price-point isn't going to diminish. Next year, I'd venture to say that you're only going to find them used.
