yeah I agree it is FUGLY! but what the heck at least it's on the DOJ list:rolleyes: He wants $400

Sorry I just vomited. Man I was thinking 100 or less, it looks just like a highpoint, man ur on ur own, just ask yourself would you rather have a glock(for a few bucks more) or somthing that looks like that?

Buy it! Anyone noting the 'ugliness' of this gun has never held one, fired one, or took one apart. This gun is built much better than a Glock. These feel like a molded chunk of steel. Tight. Far from Hi-Point territory. They are like little tanks. A gun that Kahr hopes to be like.

If that's the same Detonics that made the little 1911 type .45s, then buy it. They're well built with a reputation for being reliable.

I honestly don't know about the 9mm, though. If you've seen it up close, how small is it?

I saw one a while back at Sportsmans Supply - I think it was about $300.00 but no box. I wasn't aware these were picking up in value but what the heck. If you want it but away.

way to burst my bubble:( seriously they go for $400-500 on gunbroker.com and gunsamerica.com. They are no longer made and only made them for a couple years before they closed down. Detonics has reopened but they don't make the Pocket 9.
I love Glocks but noone can say they are not UGLY too, but I still have five myself:D

Sorry, I just saw that thing and twitched HIGH POINT. If its really a small well made gun and ur cool with the price, right on. I love little pocket guns but aaaa yea, that thing is probably nicer in person. I feel bad about buble bursting im just going my looks, and knee jerk response to price tag. Maby im just jelous no gun stores around me offer wierd items.

Ok I just looked a 5th time and it dosent seem as bad. Ur right about the Glock. U need somthing in that photo for size comparison.

Does this guy happen to be Signal Hill Turners/online gun rack? It's not a bad price but it is more of a collector item I'd say.

I heard they are nice guns which work, but some small parts were prone to breakage, and are no longer available.

They were not cheap when they were new, and back then, it was the only 9mm subciompact game in town. Detonics made some quality stuff- I've handled one and it's no hi-point. Quality on the level of Walther PPK or better.

Some people here don't have a sense of taste. I think it is a nice looking little gun.

Buy it.

Or you'll regret not buying it when you had the chance!
