Hello guys!

Just joined in a few days ago, trying to find more info on handguns. I just got my HSC and I am looking forward buying my 1st handgun. I am looking at CZ 75D or a Bersa 380.

I also like the Bersa Thunder 9 but this is not on the handgun roster. Is it still posible to get it through a CA FFL dealer even if it is not on the roster?

Thanks :)

Check with Valkyrie at Milpitas, they do SSE for some guns not on roaster.
Popular ones like XDM and Glock Gen 4 are available

They actually relocated to Santa Clara on alameda.

They also have normal business hours now too so no longer have to wait for the guys to get off work to open shop http://www.yelp.com/biz/valkyrie-arms-santa-clara Seems like they have hired some help or something.

O.P. welcome aboard!

I see. So handguns that are not listed in the roster needs to be converted to SSE then later bring it back to normal capacity?

Welcome, and lucky you ... your close to Valkyrie Arms. I have to drive nearly 60 miles each way to have them work their single shot magic.

How much did they charge you for the conversion and bringing it back to stock config?

Welcome from the north state, Yreka. I used to be a bay area-ite. Still have some family down there...I think.

Most places just charge you to use the kit and will put your gun back to stock once you pick up your gun at no additional charge.

There is a sticky on the handgun forum that goes over the SSE process and who will do it.

Welcome to the board!

Did you shoot at Target Masters? That's the closest one to me.

Yeah, I think that shop is my best bet on getting pistols that are not on the roster. I will pay them a visit next month :D

Looks like your questions got basic answers. But, just a tip: most folks don't look into the "new here" area for Qs to A. You'll be better off reading/asking in one of the appropriate subforums (such as the handguns area).
