Is there a way to tighten the bolt down on the lever that lets the stock adjust so it would be fixed in place?

I'd rather do that than drill and put a pin in the stock.

if it's a magpul stock just detach the lever that pulls the pin and allows the stock to move freely.

there's lots of ways you can do it... just make sure it can't be adjusted and you should be good.

its the standard M4 6 position stock. looks like there is a pin through the bolt and the nut. tap that pin out, and thread it all the way down the bolt? would that do it.

Why not just go A2?

well, that involves buying a new stock, and then I can't go back and change it if I want it a little shorter or longer.

I just drilled mine and pop-riveted it. I bought a cheap 4 pos from a vendor here to do this too so I wouldn't ruin a good 6 pos.
Easy to drill out and change positions on and then re rivet it.
