Looking to Duracoat my Desert Eagle 44..I have had other guns done in the San Diego area, but they were in Matte Black (simple to do I imagine) and barely within scope of the gunsmiths capabilities. What Im saying is, he is a excellent gunsmith, but the Duracoat process was fairly new to him. Does anyone know of a reasonable individual who can Duracoat in a timely, but professional manner here in San Diego County? I want to get creative on this project.

There is a certified duracoat shop in Poway called (oddly enough) Poway Weapons and Gear. They are a vendor on this site. I have no personal experience with them, but when viewing their website, I noticed they mentioned being a certified duracoater. Hope that helps.

$215 for a 2 tone paint scheme is what I was told. Im having second thoughts about it now since I dont want to diminish the value on an already overpriced gun by throwing paint on it..
