I will have to check my junk mail account that all of the BRADY BS is sent to.

that is if this is something that is included in the e mails they send out.

We should put this on all the gun boards and let them spend huge money sending these out to end up in the trash. Gotta love that idea.

I'm gonna go send for mine now, in English and Espanol LOL.

Have a great Kenpo day

Has anybody tried ordering 100,000ish? OF EACH? to all people they dislike?

jumbopanda

Spread the word guys! I just posted it on Akfiles.com

But to those of you who are ordering ridiculous amounts, don't expect them to send any to you. I'd go for a more reasonable order; around 5 of each.

Man, I can't wait to head down to Burro Canyon with some of those posters. When the guy at the desk asks, "What are you going to use for targets?" I'll simply whip out one of those bad boys and smile. :D

Oh and SAS, I like how you referred to Spanish as "Mexican" LOL! :D

Hmmmm.....light bulb here. Anyone know of any Brady material that includes a pre-paid postage envelope? If so, how would one go about getting their hands on one! :D

Looks like you can get a whole kit here:

DON'T CLICK ON THE URL - CUT AND PASTE

Probably even more expensive for them to send.

Just ordered mine. Did you notice that on their "THE RISKS OF GUNS IN THE HOME" (http://www.bradycenter.org/stop2/facts/fs1.php) page that about half of the "risks" that they noted are not even really risks? Or that the last update was in January of 2001?

Damn, they may have been the same folks that maintained the Kasler list.

Oh - hold it - they are! ... DOJ FD/BoF is an extension of the Brady campaign.
State gov't funds are used to pay at least 1 or 2 staffers for their political work time for the Brady/LCAV/CPHV groups.

I wonder how many in the thousands I can get working for a PD??? How many should i request?

megavolt121
05-02-2007, 11:27 AM
Approximately 29% of adults personally own a firearm, and 18% personally own a handgun.[

So does the other 71% not personally own one? I'm confused as to how someone would not personally own it.

Hows it going SAM? Well, i did 1000 of both to see if they would actually send me that many. If they do I will try for 2000 of each next time.

Guys don't you think that is a little underhanded and immature?

Just kidding I ordered some too. :D The brochures will indeed make good kindling for beach bonfires, and the posters will go to use somewhere, most likely as range targets. Or I'll draw mustaches on them and hang them up in the employee area of the shop.

Com'on guys, quit ordering thousands; they'll get suspicious! :D

Today I received the Brady Center's "Health Car Provider Gun Violence Prevention Counseling Kit". It cost them $2 in postage. It included an 11 page manual, 2 posters, 6 pamphlets (12 pgs.), and a cover letter inside a large envelope. All the paper is a smoother quality and is printed in 3 colors.
Hope it cost them alot. My recycling bin likes it.
Most of the info is crap.

If anyone has adobe photoshop or a program with similarities im sure someone could turn one of their anti-gun posters into something very gun friendly.

Ya think?:43::D If you guys really want to waste some big Brady $$ just help us out in the CA RKBA forum tommarow for some fun. They will be in Sac and we need a 1000 or so calls to block any attempt by them to pass any new laws in our state.:cool2:

Rats they figured out our attempt to help them waste their money.

Well it must have hit hard as I spread this thread over about 6 gun boards that I hang out on.

and they all seemed very enthusiastic about sending in for brochures.

My order has not come in yet, I'm rather distraught, all the little children running around not knowing about all the evils of assault rifles and assault pistols and assault forks, how are we to teach them about the woes of men if we don't have our Brady brochures! I sure do hope they come in today! :(

jumbopanda
05-22-2007, 4:11 PM
Crap, mine never came. I only ordered 10 of each too.

Really wanted those free targets...

rod
05-23-2007, 7:24 AM
You can still order one free kit from them and submit your order on line. Just ordered mine. I was going to call them and ask them to send me a few kits and explain to them that it's for a neighborhood watch program and it's against the HOA rules to pay for shipping and if they could waive the shipping fee.

Yes, keep their phones ringing off the hooks for this propaganda. I am in the process of obtaining as many as I can and demontrating via video what 20 rounds of tracer from 200 yds will do to them.

hate to be the devil's advocate, but one problem with this is that they now have junk statistics that they could use to show that the demand for their material has greatly increased as of late.

And maybe they are non profit organized, subsidized by tax dollars? Either way, very good point WallySparx

maybe we should send them some bricks to over load the mail system. Kind of like the send a brick for the board http://www.send-a-brick.com/
